The saying, "There is an
exception to every rule", is probably true more often than
not ... regarding mans rules. However, there are no
exceptions, or "loop holes", in Gods rules. With
that in mind, it is my firm conviction that, generally speaking,
people will usually always do what they "really" want
to do ... OR what they have to do. Not too many will actually do
what they need to do ... until they just have to do it. And,
there is usually a very big difference in the attitude of someone
doing something they want to do and that of doing what they have
to do. Furthermore, with the instant gratification mind set which
prevails today, some folks dont seem to understand that
there are HUGE differences between "want tos" ...
"need tos" ... and "have tos". In
addition, there can be a very big difference between a "privilege"
and a "right".
For over 200 years, the citizens of the United States of America
have enjoyed, as an inalienable right from our Creator, the right
to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These inalienable
rights, among other things, include the right to religious
expression ... or the freedom of religion. Those of us who
embrace the Apostles One God Monotheistic Doctrine should take
advantage of every opportunity to exercise our religious freedom
while we still have this right. And, we really ought to act as
though it is more of a privilege than a right to be able to
attend a church which teaches and preaches this precious truth,
and to be able to worship God in Spirit and Truth, without fear
or favor of governmental retaliation or influence. There are some
countries where people do not have the freedom of religion that
we do. And, according to my understanding of Gods Word, and
its fulfillment, things are going to get a whole lot worse before
the Lord takes His Bride out of this world. Therefore, we may
experience what some people in other countries are going through
right now, regarding persecution of Christians and the censorship
of the Christian faith.
**IF** this happens, as I believe the Bible teaches it will, we
are headed towards a one world economic system, a one world
political system, a one world legal system, and a one world
religious system. As hard as it may be to comprehend, I truly
believe people from all of the religions of the world are going
to merge into this one world religious system ... a "universal",
state-run and/or state accepted (politically correct) church. And,
those of us who embrace the Apostles One God Monotheistic
Doctrine are going to put to the test because we wont go
along to get along. By the way, the spirit of this "universal"
religious system is that of the antichrist, which has been around
since the time of the writing of the New Testament. It is easily
detected by independent Bible students who allow the Word to
interpret the Word, which it most certainly will, ... when
rightly divided. Furthermore, the most fundament doctrine at the
core of this "universal" religious system simply does
NOT harmonize with what the "original" New Testament
leaders and the "foot print followers" of Jesus Christ
embraced, taught, preached or practiced. I can assure you of that.
With all of this being said, the people who are already caught up
in this religious system are NOT our enemies. It is the "spirit"
... the doctrine ... behind all of this that is diametrically
opposed to the Apostles One God Monotheistic Doctrine. And, the
true enemy is the adversary of our soul ... the great deceiver,
liar and manipulator, lucifer and the fallen angels who were cast
out of Heaven with him. This is why it is essential that we
dont have an "US" and "THEM" mentality
with those who dont know that they dont know ... but
think they do. We MUST love the people. And, treat them with
agape (godly) love and true respect ... NOT look down our noses
at them, or act as though we think were some how better
than they are. I dont know of anybody who has ever won a
soul like that. The sad fact of the matter is, far too many
professing Christians have never even won anybody to the Lord.
And, it is my firm conviction that those who are actively engaged
in soul winning, reaching out, and being in service to others, do
so without the gun slinger mentality and attitude a cowboy from
the Old West, who carved a notche in the handle of his gun for
every one he got. At any rate, the spirit of antichrist has been
at work in this world for a very long time ...
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the
spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are
gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every
spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is
of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even
now already is it in the world.
2 John 1:1-11 The elder unto the elect lady and her children,
whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that
have known the truth; For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us,
and shall be with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, and
peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the
Son of the Father, in truth and love. I rejoiced greatly that I
found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a
commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as
though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had
from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love,
that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment,
That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. For
many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an
antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things
which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of
Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ,
he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you,
and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is
partaker of his evil deeds.
If you think One God Apostolics are misunderstood, mocked and
falsely accused right now, you just wait until the "mother"
(universal) church and all her "daughters" come
together. If you think it is hard to live for God whole heartedly
right now, you wont make it through what is already on the
horizon, headed our way, unless you find yourself an altar, and
get the power of the Holy Ghost at work in your life.
While we should try to look on the bright side of things, and
look for the good in people, we should NOT be oblivious to what
is going on all around us. A wise man will dig the well before he
gets thirsty. Likewise, a person will not wait until the storm is
raging to start thinking about securing the main deck and
battening down the hatches. You should do that when you see the
storm headed your way ... and before it arrives.
Procrastination to do what we really need to do is only one of
the many adversaries everybody faces. Waiting and waiting,
putting off and putting off, until one has fooled around and
waited until it is too late, will be the situation that
multitudes will find themselves in on Judgment Day. Even **IF**
the Lord tarries another week, month, year or decade, we are all
only one heart beat away from eternity at any given moment. The
only advantage that I can think of about having a terminal
illness is that a person has some time to set their house in
order if they need to. Many souls are snatched out into Eternity
in an instant, without time enough to say good-bye, or anything.
And, the arch-enemy of our soul will do his best to convince you
and me that we have plenty of time. That is a lie from the pits
of hell! Time is the ONLY thing that we dont have plenty of.
Time is the only thing that CANNOT be replenished or replaced,
once it has been used. Soooo, the more time that satan gets
someone to waste the greater his chances are of claiming that
soul in the final analysis of things.
This has been a pretty long lead-in to get to the point of the
title of this study ... Who cares enough to "MAKE IT HAPPEN"?.
But, these are some things which God placed upon my heart, which
needs to be taught in the Last Days.
Do you care enough to MAKE IT HAPPEN? If so, would there be
enough evidence to convict you for caring enough to MAKE IT
HAPPEN? You see, we are living in a time when many people believe
if they just "think" it in their mind, thats all
that is necessary. But, I beg to differ. While it takes being
positive, and thinking the right thoughts, it takes a whole lot
more than just thinking about something. Somebody has to MAKE IT
HAPPEN ... **IF** anything ever actually gets done. When you come
into the House of the Lord, will you stoop down and pick up a
piece of paper off the floor if you are physically able to do so,
or do you just step over it, thinking that it needs to be picked
up, but someone else will do it? If you see something else that
needs to be done, will you do it if you are able to do it, or do
you just think about it needing to be done, but that someone else
will do it? Now, please dont misunderstand me. I realize
that there are times when we are just not focused. I ran through
a stop sign at an intersection yesterday, and didnt even
realize it until my daughter told me what I had just done. I was
not focused. That can be very, very dangerous in the natural
world. But, it can be even more dangerous in the spiritual world.
We need to be more focused, more on point ... more sensitive to
the leading of the Holy Ghost and more submissive to the Will of
God. In the days ahead, those of us who intend to be involved in
the work of the Lord had better have a greater burden, a greater
vision, a greater love and a greater commitment than we have ever
had before.
Mark 1:40-45 through 2:1-13 And there came a leper to him,
beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If
thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with
compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto
him, I will; be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken,
immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; And
saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way,
shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those
things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. But he
went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the
matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the
city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from
every quarter. ....... And again he entered into Capernaum, after
some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And
straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was
no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and
he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing
one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they
could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the
roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down
the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw
their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be
forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting
there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus
speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And
immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so
reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye
these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to
the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say,
Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that
the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to
the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up
thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he
arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch
that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never
saw it on this fashion. And he went forth again by the sea side;
and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
Jude 1:21-23 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for
the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some
have compassion, making a difference: And others save with
fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment
spotted by the flesh.
You are free to do what you want to. But, I am going to do what I
can to MAKE IT HAPPEN. And, I hope you and many others feel the
same way. At any rate, I will close out with a story we all need
to remember ...
This is a little story about four people named Everybody,
Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody: There was an important job to be
done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody
could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about
that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought that
Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't
do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did
what Anybody could have done ~ Author unknown
